SeeTrue

One week in Venice with the SeeTrue team. One trailer, about fifty reels, everything delivered inside a month.

Role Assistant creative director Edit · Colour grade · Sound design
Delivered 1 trailer · ~50 reels Cut from one week of footage
Schedule 1 week on location Full delivery within a month
Result +1,000 Followers gained · from a base of 100

The job

SeeTrue needed a launch film and a month of short-form to go with it, shot and finished by one team. We spent a week in Venice covering the collection — the trailer and the reels came out of the same footage, so the look had to hold up at both lengths.

What I did

I came in as assistant creative director and handled post end to end: every cut, the colour grade, and the sound design. Fifty reels means fifty decisions about where a cut lands — the grade and the mix are what keep them recognisable as one campaign.

“Best Editor ive ever worked with in Vienna. Delivers Pure Quality.”

Nice footage is the easy part. The job was their problem — and I solved it.

Money Revenge

A brand with a collection and no campaign. One launch trailer, shot and cut in Vienna, and a pop-up that sold the first drop out.

Role Director · Creative director Concept · Edit · Colour · Sound · Producer · On camera
Delivered 1 launch trailer Plus the campaign stills
Client Jimmy · Money Revenge Flew in from Portugal for the shoot
Result Sold out First collection gone at the pop-up · 20K views on the trailer

The job

Jimmy is a Portuguese footballer who flew to Vienna to launch his clothing brand. He had the name and the collection. What Money Revenge didn’t have was a campaign — nothing that showed people what the brand was supposed to feel like.

What I did

I brought the idea, directed it, and shot it with my team: a crew in the collection, a black car in a garage, the logo thrown across concrete. Then the whole post — edit, grade, sound — plus the campaign stills.

The crew shot from above at the bar, prints facing camera

Hotbox 3

A short intro film for the Vienna scene — the hosts, the night, and seven artists on the bill, in one cut. Shot with Lenny on a Nikon ZR, graded in house.

Role Cinematography · Colour grading Shot with Lenny, trading off camera and diffuser
Delivered 1 intro film Introducing the hosts and the event
Clients Bobby Saint · Mike Ross Hosts of the night · Crew: Lenny · Isah
Result Full room 1,000+ views on the trailer

The job

They wanted a short intro video for the Vienna scene, introducing the artists and their music event. We gave them what they asked for.

What I did

Lenny and I shot the whole thing together on a Nikon ZR, switching positions — one on camera, the other holding the diffuser. Then the grade.

The two artists in sunglasses and chains on the parking-lot set
Blue Mustang convertible parked in front of the Vienna tower blocks
Close frame of an artist on the phone in the car, shot from behind
The artists waiting while Isah holds the diffuser and Lenny shoots from a crouch
Macro frame of his grill as he takes a call, phone up against his cheek

They asked for one intro film. The room was full.

About

Isah Jaafaru Bello

I'm a creative director and editor based in Vienna, and I work across fashion, sports, real estate and live events. I shoot as well as take the whole of post — cut, grade, mix — because that's how a campaign ends up sounding and looking like one piece of work at trailer length and at fifteen seconds.

I'd rather solve the brief than hand back something that only looks nice, so I stay in it from the idea to the last export — on set for the shoot, then the full post. That's usually one hero film plus a run of short-form cut from the same material, all of it holding one look and one sound.
